Bulletin of Palestine Studies

The Journal of Palestine Studies publishes original research in the disciplines of History, International Relations, Political Science, and Economics, for which the journal has dedicated Subject Editors on its editorial boards. Manuscripts whose primary focus falls outside these disciplines will be desk rejected.

To encourage author diversity in our journal, an author whose article has been published may submit a new study only after at least 4 issues have passed.

In our journal, co-authored articles based on student–faculty member and/or student–advisor relationships are not considered for evaluation.

Priority is given to articles in English.

Articles that do not comply with the writing rules will be returned to the author. Therefore, please carefully review the author guidelines; footnotes and references must conform to The Chicago Manual of Style (18th Edition) format. For sample usage, you may visit our author guidelines page.

Manuscripts must be uploaded to the system after being transferred into the Article Template (Word file) provided by our journal. Articles that do not comply with the author guidelines and technical requirements will be returned directly to the author without being sent to the peer-review process.
