Aim & Scope

The international Bulletin of Palestine Studies - [כתב העת ללימודים פלסטיניים, مجلة دراسات فلسطينية] is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. It is a useful resource for all those interested in Palestine, Israel and the Middle East. As an interdisciplinary journal, it aims to offer an intellectual platform for the discussion of countries' policies toward Palestine and Israel and analyze the historical, political, social, and cultural aspects of Palestine, Israel, and the region. In line with these objectives, the Bulletin of Palestine Studies pays close attention to the relations of Palestine and Israel with Turkey, the Middle East and the rest of the world, and encourages scholarly studies with a theoretical or comparative approach to the relevant subjects.

The Bulletin of Palestine Studies aims to publish the articles of not only accomplished scholars, but also of promising young researchers in order to promote their research activities. Many dissertations that involve original research go unpublished. There are many benefits of publishing journal articles produced from these works, including original contributions to the chosen field, career enhancement, and personal satisfaction. Generally, turning several chapters from a dissertation into scholarly articles do not constitute a problem when later producing a monograph based on it.

The Bulletin of Palestine Studies aims to publish scholarly studies in all disciplines relevant to Palestine and Israel. It especially welcomes interdisciplinary studies on the relevant topics.
